Ashton has been at Champion’s Quest just 2 short months and has logged a whopping 77 hours of training since October. 8, 2024. He is showing tremendous progress in his overall athleticism, and in fact has skyrocketed to over +146% growth. Ashton plays football and is preparing for his freshman season at Los Alamitos High School. He works very hard and has a desire to be the best when he enters campus this Fall 2025.
Ashton has the qualities of a champion. He has confidence, is a great listener, and wants to improve every time he enters Champion’s Quest. This is clearly shown through his athleticism when he competes. He excels in all performance clinics, but especially in the Football I.Q. program where we teach the game using football cues, terminology, a whiteboard, videos, and an. overall understanding of the mental side of the football experience.
Below are his top 3 key performance indicators on his performance achievements –
Agility | 10/8/2024 | 1/13/2025 | Performance Improvement |
---|---|---|---|
Linear Movement: | 11.43 seconds | 8.91 seconds | +128% |
Single Leg Strength | 9.29 seconds | 4.97 seconds | +87% |
Core Strength | 3 min:12 sec | 1:02 sec | +225% |
As you can see, the system is working for Ashton, but what I am most proud about is his mental development. We meet 2x per month for a short session of Q&A and reflection. Our conversations are on goals, school and life – helping him maintain a sense of balance or to serve as a checkpoint on his mental game. The key questions we focus on include what he wants to accomplish but most importantly, what he wants to do. Or as I like to say… WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO SACRIFICE for the goal or dream? These sessions are instrumental in assisting Ashton’s overall development as a young man: the mind, body and spirit.
Ashton is off to a great start and much work still needs to be done, but the foundation is set for success. He is well on his way to being a champion and a shining example of excellence on & off the field. Congratulations Ashton, keep up the great work and remember, we are proud of you!!!
