One of the most challenging characteristics for an aquatic athlete is training on land. However, Karly has been excelling in the strength program at Champion’s Quest, and her performance in the pool is reflecting her efforts.

temp-post-imageBeing able to move quickly and explosively is one of the most important components for a water polo player. Karly feels that she has developed these characteristics in strength clinics which translates very well into the pool. “The strength of my shot has improved a lot since I have been at Champion’s Quest,” Karly states. She also said that “even though I am playing against older girls, I am able to stay competitive.” Her coach has been playing Karly as a Set, a very aggressive and difficult position, where she has been excelling because she has developed her power and strength on land. Go Karly!
