“See where your work with Meghan has paid off even more: CCAA Athlete of the Week. http://www.csusmcougars.com/index.aspx?path=wsoc Yipee! Following in your footsteps.”
- Kristina Randig (daughter Meghan Randig is a Champion’s QUEST Alumni and son Justin Randig is a current Champion’s QUEST athlete)
Meghan Randig had a stand-out Sophomore soccer season for Cal State San Marcos (CSUSM) as they continue to battle in the NCAA Division II conference California Collegiate Athletic Association.
Meghan played in the midfield and led team with three goals on the season. She scored the game-winning goal on Oct. 11 vs. Cal State Monterey Bay and was named CSUSM’s first-ever CCAA Women’s Soccer Player of the Week on Oct. 13.
Meghan finished out her memorable season by receiving the honor of being named All-California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Honorable Mention by the conference’s head coaches.
Congrats Meghan on your rewarding soccer season! I am so proud of your accomplishments as you deserve every one of them. I remember when you even had contemplated if playing college soccer was even an option after the endless hours of pursuing college coaches. Your freshman year didn’t go as planned but YOU made the decision to not make excuses, take ownership of your soccer career and look at where you are now – the prime example of a CHAMPION.
