Champion's Quest Success Story

temp-post-imageNatalie began her training at Champion’s QUEST Soccer Academy during the end of November 2017. Natalie is 14 years old and plays the holding center midfielder position. Natalie is currently playing for FC Premier G04 coached by George Maisterra. She has just begun her high school career at Cerritos High School and will be playing on the Junior Varsity team this upcoming season. On her first day Natalie set some athletic and technical goals for herself to accomplish after a year of training. Athletically Natalie wanted to be able to do 5 or more pull-ups, increase her vertical, improve her sprint speed, and increase her overall upper body strength. Technically Natalie wanted to improve her dribbling skills, make better, quicker decisions off the ball, and improve her ability to distribute accurate passes. To make sure that she reached her goals Natalie came to our facility to train at least twice a week and has completed 200 hours of training over the last year. Natalie attends the strength, speed, and soccer skills clinics. Furthermore, she comes into the facility early to get a workout in before the clinics. As a result of Natalie’s hard work and determination she reached Champion Level on the Champion’s Quest Athletic Assessment chart after her last benchmark testing, the highest level achievable! On top of that, Natalie reached every goal that she set for herself. Natalie has made an overall athletic improvement of 171%! Natalie increased her push-up total from 34 to 77 and her pull up total from 0 to 6. She lowered her sprint time from 1.98s to 1.62s. Natalie posted faster times in all three agility categories: 9.32s to 4.68 on the 1-2, 11.01 to 6.02 on the 1-4, and 5.38 to 3.94 on the SST. On the technical side, Natalie has shown great improvements in her dribbling and passing ability. She makes better decisions on and off the ball and is now one of the vocal leaders on her team. After successfully reaching her year-long goals Natalie is now looking to accomplish her next year-long goal, making it onto the Cerritos High School Varsity Team. Continue to work hard Natalie. We are looking forward to continue working with you and help you reach your goals and future success.
