Elleni Bekele is a 16-year-old soccer player who has been coming to Champion’s Quest for 2 _ years. She has primarily been working on her speed and agility. Over the course of the last 2 years she has taken off over a half second in her change of direction and took off close to 2 seconds in her foot speed. She is an extremely hard worker and is dedicated to always giving 110% every training session she has. Through this work ethic she has made huge improvements over the years.

This last weekend she participated in the Las Vegas Players Showcase and I had the joy of watching her play. This is a premier soccer showcase that allows players to play in front of a wide variety of college coaches. Over the weekend she showed how dedicated she is. She got injured in the first game and pushed through the pain to play for the rest of the weekend. She not only played a fair amount of minutes but she played well and caught the eye of a couple of college coaches. She embodied the Champion spirit and showed that she wants to play at the next level.

Elleni’s work ethic is second to none and it is just beginning to pay off. She is just scratching the surface of her full potential and has been a pleasure to work with her and watch her grow. Keep it up Elleni!
