Luke Brown began his training at the Champion’s QUEST Soccer Academy in June of 2018. Luke is a 14-year-old soccer player that plays the striker position, however, he is skilled enough to play whatever position his team needs him to play on the field. He plays for CDA Slammers HB B04 for Coach Ramirez. Luke is currently a freshman at Long Beach Poly High School and made the varsity program there. Luke was not satisfied with only making the team, so he fought for and won a starting spot!

From June 2018 to Jan 2018 Luke dedicated 25 hours of training at Champion’s QUEST and saw his athleticism improve an astounding 200%! Luke made great improvements in every physical category. He drastically improved his linear (11.57s to 6.63s), lateral (10.90s to 7.53s) and single leg (5.64s to 3.63s) agility scores which were one of his goals that he set for himself when he began his training. Luke saw his upper body and core strength greatly increase as his push-up count in one minute went from 42 to 83. Luke can now do 5 pull-ups compared to 3 and he can hold his plank for 4 minutes. On the technical side, Luke has developed a great touch on the ball and his movements are quick and agile. He can now blow by defenders with pace or get by them using skill moves.

This is only the beginning for Luke. He has worked tremendously hard to get to this point, but he is hungry for more. Now that he has made the Varsity team at Poly and has a starting spot he is working toward getting scouted for a college scholarship. Luke shows immense dedication toward his craft and we are looking for to with him to reach his next goal. Congratulations on this high school season Luke and continue to strive for success!
