Anthony has been at Champion’s Quest Athlete Academy for over 6 months and he is building a tremendous foundation for success. He has shown all the qualities of a Champion with fellow teammates, coaches and players throughout the area. Anthony is consistent, he listens,he works hard and he maximizes his mental, physical and technical skills every single time he enters Champion’s Quest. His work ethic is second to none. Anthony is a shining example of optimum performance which is the meaning of “O” in our character building motto at Champion’s Quest.
Anthony plays football for the freshman team at Los Alamitos High School and he displays his pursuit of being a Champion to the grid iron. Every Friday he comes into Champion’s Quest for his weekly In-Season workout session and I ask him so how was the game on Thursday? Anthony smiles, beaming with confidence and humility and says, “I had 3 sacks,11 tackles and a fumble recovery. Wow all in a days work, but he has a story like this every Friday!!!! Anthony continues to strive for being the best. He never spends too much time on the highlights, he immediately begins to discuss how he can improve on techniques, lifting, catch drills, leverage and using his hands to become the best and most complete athlete he can be on the football field. Anthony Leon is truly building the foundation of a Champion!!
In 6 months of committed focus to his training program here in the College Prep Academy Program he has:
Gained 4″ of vertical jump (24″ to 28″), Reduced his single leg reaction time over 3 seconds (6.95 to 3.84), Improved his Pro-Agility 5-10-5 time over 3 tenths (5.16 to 4.84) …All while gaining just under 30lbs of muscle!
