There have been many first with our athletes here at Champion’s QUEST and this past month we have another one. We had a volleyball athlete that joined her first club team and she was able to help her team win their first inter-squad tournament for ages 11-13 years old. The journey has started for Adhiithri Ganesh who has a desire of playing Volleyball in high school and hopefully in college as well.

Adhiithri (new to sports) joined our Athlete Academy in December of 2019, has been attending all her recommended development sessions every week and at the start of August she joined Club Oaho as her first volleyball team to start her journey to become a seasoned and confident volleyball athlete. She has been waiting for the day she can become a member of a volleyball team to contribute and start her journey. Now that she is committed to Club Oaho, Adhiithri is able to increase her skills and presence on the court.

With this being her first team, she was both excited and nervous at the same time to play. While competing in the club’s inter-squad tournament, all her teammates including herself were rotating in to assist them with learning each position. From watching her play, I noticed that she has a strong ability to become a talented Libero and/or Defensive Specialist on the Volleyball court.

This school year Adhiithri is taking advanced courses in Math, English, Science and History, along with being on the Leadership Club, Speech Debate Club at her middle school. She has the ambition of becoming a Medical Doctor and have Volleyball keep her physically focused during her studies of reaching her degrees. Keep pushing through any obstacles that come arise in your journey and we at Champion’s QUEST wish you the best as we continue to watch you develop into our High School and College Prep Development Programs.
