Jared Chatham was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from George Washington Preparatory High School in South Central Los Angeles, where he made history as the first Division 1 athlete from the school in 16 years. Jared then attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas earning a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Health, and Wellness Studies (Family and Consumer Sciences). He fulfilled his dream of playing Division 1 basketball and went on to play professionally for two years in Sweden and Denmark’s top leagues. Jared is passionate about helping his community and inspiring youth to achieve their life goals.

“My mission in life is to give the youth what I never had growing up. As a coach, my greatest passion is developing student-athletes, and helping them grow in their sport and life. Their dedication, resilience, and pursuit of excellence inspire me every day to become a better coach and person. What I like most about Champions Quest and the environment is that we ensure that every person and athlete in the building feels valued and understood”.
