Develop multidirectional speed

The ability to powerfully accelerate from any position and in any direction

Tennis players typically don't move in a single direction for any length of time. The ability to master multidirectional speed is critical to success in tennis.   At Champion’s Quest, the Peak Performance programs help tennis athletes develop powerful multidirectional speed.  In a mere half second Champion’s Quest athletes can move five to ten feet from where they previously were – that’s the difference in being able to make a winning slice, keeping the ball in play, or getting to that volley.

"Before I joined Champions Quest I was a junior on JV. My coach was considering cutting me. Then i came to Champions Quest and worked over summer on my strength and acceleration. About a week into the school year my coach saw my improvement and put me on Varsity. That year I started four games. Seeing how all of my effort in my workouts got me on varsity showed me that with focus and dedication you can accomplish anything. At practice I can tell when my coach isn't paying attention to me so I tend to slack off and not try my hardest. But at Quest I know they are watching and when they encourage me it makes me want to do my best to be the best I can be."
