Injury Recovery

As an athlete it is hard to sit there and watch from the sidelines while you wait to recover from your injury. Champion’s QUEST can help you recover quicker and even come back stronger than you were prior to the injury! Additionally our professional staff can take the athlete through injury rehabilitation so you won't have to do both training and physical therapy at the same time. (Note: by approval from a doctor)


Injury Prevention

Most injuries that athletes get can be prevented! This is why every athlete that commits to the Athlete Academy will have injury prevention included in their program. Here are four components that we put into our athletes’ program in order to decrease the chance of injury:

  • Flexibility - Having a limited range of motion greatly decreases performance output as well as increasing your chance of a muscle strain, etc.
  • Deceleration Strength – Lacking the physical ability to slow down your body after a given movement will put extra stress on ligaments, which will lead to tearing of the ligaments of that joint as well as a decreased performance.
  • Stability – Lacking enough balance to stabilize a joint during a given movement will develop a faulty movement pattern which will program the body to use improper muscles to stabilize as well as decrease the speed of the athlete.
  • Muscle Imbalance – If a muscle on one side of the joint is weaker than the opposing muscle there will be added stress on the joint as well as having an increased fatigue in the muscles along with a lack of force during the range of motion.
